How Etsy fees work
Listing fee
A flat $0.20 USD charge each time you publish or renew a listing. Listings run for four months or until the item sells.
Transaction fee
6.5% of the total order amount — item price plus shipping (and gift wrap, if charged).
Payment processing fee
A percentage plus a flat fee per order, charged on the item price, shipping, and any sales tax collected. The rate depends on your Etsy Payments account's country — e.g. 3% + $0.25 in the US, or 4% + €0.30 in most of the Eurozone.
Regulatory operating fee
An additional percentage-based fee charged to sellers in certain countries (including the UK, France, Italy, and others) to cover local compliance costs.
Offsite Ads fee
If a shopper clicks an Etsy ad for your item elsewhere on the web and buys within 30 days, Etsy charges 15% of that order (12% if your shop made $10,000+ in the past year, at which point participation is mandatory). Capped at $100 per order.
Fee rates change periodically and can vary by seller and listing currency. This calculator is an estimate for planning purposes — always confirm current rates on Etsy's official fees page.
